Neurologist appt. comeing up Monday

Hey everyone, let me start by saying 123pepper i am so sorry to hear of your fall. Believe it or not i can relate as thats what happen to me way back. I hope you are feeling better? I have something i need advice on? I have my appt. comeing up and although i can pinpoint my tender spot the only thing really bothering me right now is that my leg is so weak. Is this Dr. gonna be able to figure out what is going on just by that possibly? What should i do? Should i explain to him everything that has happened and how as long as i don't twist and bend ect. to aggrivate my back i am kinda okay? I am just worried that they will just laugh at me although i know my limits and my leg is weak and lots of numbness even though the back pain has subsided alot. I mean i have the proof of everything that has happended also. I just would some day like to be able to work again some and am worried hes gonna say theres nothing wrong, you know some dr.s! I just would like some advice on how to be ready for this appt.?
Love, Monkey

Okay.....I am ducking but go out and do whatever it is that causes you to flare up. If it is shopping, raking, etc. That way he can see you first hand the pain you are in.

Thank you for your concern Monkey.

Hey Monkey,
My guess would be that if you are not hurting when you go for your appt. he will probably tell you to come back when you are hurting. Doesn't it always happen like that...you make a doctors appt and then you feel better? Good luck and keep us posted!
