| essential tremors
So I have a question but kinda give you a briefing. I have been shaking for a some time now probably 10 years? Mine is getting worse over the years. So my doctor really didn't think anything about it. So my husband and I video the events taking place. My main complaint was my legs from toe to hip have been turning purple with shaking in my legs (severe) and shoulders & hands will also do this. My doctor put me on a medication (long time ago was on it for maybe a week) for anxiety (due to my house burning down) well this flared it up like crazy. I couldn't even get the food to my mouth without it shaking off my spoon. I just started crying. So I have been paying attention when this shaking starts. Mine is (not) associated with anything but movement. If I walk (i shake) if I hold something I shake.. I have also noticed that my head does the no rythem as well.. but not real bad. Nothing compared to my legs and hands. It doesn't seem to go to one side either.. Both sides are affected.
My question is this something that can be controlled by medications? I go see my neurologist the 29th of July. I am not sure what to expect since this is what my doctor thinks I have.. So anyone know what kind of tests they may run?
I was also recently dx's with dyautonomia. Could that be possible to be associated? If anyone knows?
Sincerely,
Misty
