 Fat deposit? On my brain??
I won't even go into my whole back story and list of symptoms. I went in for a follow up with my neurologist to get my MRI results and she said, "Your brain looks okay. Well, they did find a fat deposit pressing on an optic...well a nerve to your face." I said, "Really? Because I tell my husband all the time that my face hurts." She asked where at and I told her pretty much my whole face. She said, "Well this would only be one side so you aren't symptomatic." I said, "Oh"
And that was that. She said she would change my medication for my migraines with aura because Maxalt is doing absolutely nothing for them and sent me on my way.
Now I'm left wondering what the heck is a fat deposit? Really... And if the MRI is showing it compressing a nerve why is that not important?
