Head / Brain Noises

Hi all

I am currently tapering off Valium 20mg now 6.4mg taking it very slowly. After I started tapering I developed Tinnitus in my left ear which has now morphed into more general noises all over my head / brain. It sounds very much like static electricity / electrical actvity and is constant although it moves around from Temples to back of head to top of head. This symptom is driving me insane, anyboby got any thoughts on what might be causing it.

Regards

Andrew

How long were you on it and how slowly are you weaning it? It's very possible that you are still going faster than your body can handle.

I was on the drug for 2 years and have tapered at 0.022mg / day using a liquid titration. This equates to 1 mg every 45 days. I held for 1 month in August and it made no difference to this symptom.

Thanks

Andrew
