| Twitching after campylobacter infection
Hi All,
About 2 weeks ago I had a bout of campylobacter food poisoning and was out of action for 4 days with diarrhea, fever etc.
I kept myself hydrated and my bowel now seems back to normal, but I've had a very annoying problem ever since: twitching.
It comes and goes, but I seem to have frequent twitches all over my body, from my hands, legs to the soles of my feet. The only place it has avoided so far is my face, which is nice.
Last night I could hardly sleep because the twitches were going crazy.
My GP surgery is busy and they don't have any available slots for me until next Tuesday, and I'm terrifed I have the onset of a serious neurological disease like MS.
Can anyone make any suggestions on what I can do to reduce the twitches or suggest a potential diagnosis?
