Question CT Scan Results - Translation?

Hi all. New to the board - hopefully I'll have something to contribute eventually. For now, I could really use your help.

Got a CT scan last week and would like assistance interpreting the language.
Can anyone help?

Had a spinal fusion at T11/T12 in June of 2010. Made it back to work 9 months later and was in a collision on my way home from work 2.5 months after I started.

Now my fusion hurts a lot and I have rib pain running across my left side (bottom two/three ribs). My entire Quadratus Lumborum on the Left side (only) is locked completely and has been since the accident. I have continuous muscle spams and increased pain to the point where I am disabled and can no longer function.

CT Scan Report -

Findings: There has been surgery at T11/T12 with left-sided pedicle screws anchoring a longitudinally oriented left-sided rod. There has been partial facetectomy on the left. Fusion plug material appears appropriately located with in the T11/T12 disk space. There is some lucency and sclerotic margins around the fusion block material. Osseous fusion across the endplates at T11/T12 not demonstrated.

No significant abnormality was demonstrated in the remainder of the thoracic spine.

Impression:
Postop change T11-T12. Osseous fusion between the endplates is not demonstrated.

--- END OF RESULTS ---

I read this as something that's not good and will possibly require more surgery to resolve. I am not a doctor and can only do my best to interpret what I read from the Web. So... what does it say?

Thanks much,
M
