Neurologist or Orthopaedic? Shoulder surgery needed.

I have a torn tendon in my shoulder and am told I will most likely need surgery -- should I have a neurosurgeon or orthopaedic surgeon perform the surgery? I know what I had back surgery, I was told to always have a neurosurgeon b/c of what's involved -- does the same apply to shoulders? Thank you!

Jackie

Jackie, if it were me, I would go to an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulders.

Good luck!!
