Really concerned, neurological problems.
For the past few months I've been having neurological symptoms that have progressively been getting worse, it started out as small minor headaches and eyelid twitching, now the twitches are everywhere and happen almost all the time. my vision has started to fade out and doubles up sometimes. my speech is terrible, I have to replace alot of words with 'thing' because the right words just won't come to mind. my ability to read text has also been affected (misread words, replace words with similar sounding words.)
My muscles have also started to click and lock up and I get joint pain quite alot. my jaw also makes a crunching noise when I open my mouth.
I also have a large lump on the back of my head which causes the back of my head to make a clicking noise when I move it. the lump also moves around and clicks when I touch it. I also noticed there's quite a few lumps on my head, however the one that clicks stands out the most.
Also, about a week ago, I noticed a lump appearing on my chest, and a cough appearing with it.
I have had a CT and an MRI of my brain which came back normal. however, the big lump appeared after I had my scans. so I'm unsure whether this is the disease progressing or if its unrelated.
I am getting the blood tests ANA, rheumatoid factor, CK and bone chemistry. I am also getting an EMG. and I'm thinking if these tests yield no results, to get the lumps biopsied.
Any suggestions or clues to what this could be? I have been to so many doctors I can't even count now but this is a problem that can't be ignored, and yet doctors are being very haphazard about the whole thing.
