Unhappy 3 hour seizures

I am new to this website. Any help, thoughts, ideas would be greatly appreceiated. I have seen my fiancee have 2-4 hour seizures. I have seen him have a total of 4 seizures in a 3 year time frame. The first one was approx 2 hours long; approx 2 hours after excessive drinking. The second one was about 15 mintues long; the day after excessive drinking. The third one was approx 4 hours long; approx half an hour after excessive drinking. The fourth one was approx 3 hours long; about 2 hours after excessive drinking. Obviously the drinking is the trigger. I have seen him have a couple of drinks and be fine. These seizures have happened EVERY time he gets "drunk". It is not one long constant seizure. It is random, but they begin with small jerking movements, then stiffening, and then very large jerking movements, sometimes vomitting, sometimes eye rolling, sometimes very far off stare, sometimes he stops breathing, then he is calm, even to the point of talking, asking for a drink, asking for a cigeratte, then back through all of that randomly, for the duration repeating this process several times, randomly. Like I said obviously the trigger is alcohol. Everything I have read online talks about alcohol withdrawel being the trigger, not consumption of alcohol. I know he needs to be seen by a dr and that will happen. We get married in 3 days and then I can add him to my insurance. By the way, he had the fourth seizure last night. Lasted from 11pm-2am. So please dont just tell me to go see a dr. That will be first on the list as soon as his insurance is effective? I've not heard of seizures lasting that long. Last night I wasnt doing it to be mean, but I got about 15 min of seizure on video for him to see and believe me and also possibly for the dr when we go. I dont know where to start with my questions. The first thing I think of when I hear seizures is epelipsy. He does say that sometimes right before he losses conscienceness it will feel like his brain "itches". Again, any help would be great.

Concerned soon to be wife,
Tam
