Many symptoms no dx
I would like some insight on what neurological disease I may have. Sorry that the following is so long. On 09/22/03 I was on my way to work and 2 hours later I found myself parked in front of my local hospital with no memory of how I got there. I had a bad headache, I was confused, I was weak on the left side with tingling of my leg and arm and was having problems walking but I finally made it to the ER. MRIs were taken and no sign of a stroke. However, the doctor believed that I may have suffered a minor stroke that left no sign on the MRI. The worst problem is being tired all the time but especially after activity and a shower. About a month later I suffered another bad headache. Along with the aforementioned symptoms I also got left hand tremor and blurry vision. My neurologist took more MRIs as well as a VER. Again no findings. More recently, when I take a shower my left leg spasms and tingles and on occasion my left hand trembles. On one occasion, my vision went black and white. My blurry vision corrected itself. I recently have gone to another neurologist for a second opinion and he referred me to a neuro-opthalmologist. The neuro-opt found my left optic nerve unhealthy and suggested that I may have Horner's Syndrome. However, this in itself does not explain all my other symptoms. She also found that I had peripheral vision problems. Currently my symptoms are as follows: Tiredness all the time but especially after activity and a shower, weakness to my left leg (enough that I need a cane to walk), weakness to my left arm/hand (enough that I can't write), numbness to the fingers of my left hand, trembling of my left hand on activity and occasionally after a shower, and occasionally an uncoordinated feeling ( enough that I can't tie my shoes or a tie). The MRIs and the VER seem to have ruled out a stroke or MS. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas. Thank you.
