I'd like to know if anyone out there has this illness? I was in remission for quite a while, but have really gone down-hill. Also, I was born with it, which is quite uncommon. Love to hear from you.

I've had it for 6.5 years. It's a bummer as I was doing really well for 2 years but have been struggling since late summer.

Are you on any meds? I'm on 3-4 Diaminopyradine. Was on Prednisone for 27 years! Do you work outside the home?

Yes, I use Cellcept and IVIG. I no longer have my career. Had to give that up in 2001. I have a second grade dd, so I have to save my energy for her.

I know someone in their 60's that has just recently been diagnosed with this. She has been suffering for about a year and a half now. Bad vision and must walk with a walker (balance has been off for quite some time).

Is this treatable? If so what meds?
