head tremors when eating - Neuromuscular Diseases Message Board

My boyfriend's head tremors when he eats, just as the food is entering his mouth. He told me he was never aware he did this until some of his friends pointed in out when he was about 19, he is now 25. What could be causing this? Should he mention this to a doctor? He can control it if he really concentrates, otherwise the tremors take over. I'm am scared to suggest he should check it out, as I don't want to hurt his feelings, and it seems he has accepted it as a normality.

I'd like to suggest a book to you that was very interesting concerning the firing impulses of the brain, a guy I know who is much older than your boyfriend is reading and doing what the book suggests and he has a shrinking cerebellum disease this has helped him. The name of the book is 'Your bodies many cries for water' it has to do not only with water but certain nutrients that some people need for a correct sparking of the brain and nerve endings. It reads like a book, it doesn't have an index so if something sounds right make notes and mark the pages. I think it may be very helpful to you BF to check it out. You may even be able to find it at a library.
