symptoms, ice or water running down the leg. Many sport injuries to the same leg. Early 40's, fairly active and healthy. Just a weird feeling that I haven't experienced before. Is this a symptom for anything...Neuro-muscular disease ? please advise..

this actually sounds like what are called 'parasthesias"(kind of odd sensations that could be feeling like many possible things,either hot or cold)?not really a neuromuscular issue but neuro in nature.just what type of injuries have you actually had in the leg and where were they and just where is that sensation at in comparrison?above or below where your inuries were?this could be stemming from some level of actual nerve injury at the injury site or could have casued it during any type of surgical intervention that may have been needed to fix the actual injury.more info would help tons. Thanks for taking your time to respond. I have twice sprained my ankle (severe) having to have a cast on for 6 weeks. No surgeries either time. Nerve inflamation at bottom of same foot where the two nerves meet before the toes. It was so severe from playing soccer that I couldn't walk on it in the morning for an hour till it loosened up. Had orthotics made up which fixed the problem for the most part..still a little uncomfortable in the morning after sports but no where near what it was before. One sports Hernia and also I have had inflamation of the knee in the past. What you say makes a lot of sense because the Ice/water feeling is happening in the same leg. I've just never experienced that sensation before. Again, I appreciate your time and I hope you have a great New Year..
