I seem to be answering all your questions tonight. I found a portion of Brocallies reply from when my daughter was just diagnosed. We are in TX also.
" UTSW in Dallas if you ever want a new perspective. They have a neuromuscular clinic and are on the cutting edge of treatments." that's where she goes! I have no idea how far away you are from Dallas.
I've really thought about taking my daughter there also, right now she is with a neuro at the children's hosptial. He is really nice and all but I just don't think he listens when we tell him how she is really doing. She's one of the three worst cases he has ever seen and seems to think she had a miraculous recovery. Still could happen but not yet
