| Arms, body jerking whilst asleep. Worried!!
Hi all, sorry but did'nt know where to post.
This is about my husband who had a total knee replacement 3 months ago and has'nt been well since.
He was put on Tramadol for the pain but came off that some time ago as the pains reduced alot and did'nt want to be addicted.
Well the past couple of weeks whilst he is about to fall asleep his upper body especially the arms jump, shudder, jerk and as the night goes on this just gets worse and both of us are'nt getting much sleep. Its like a small fit each time it happens.
This morning he finally saw a Gp who listened to him and has now said it isn't the Tramadol which 2 other Doctors said it was but has had urgent blood tests as he thinks there is something else going on here. He has lost a stone in weight, looks very ill and his eyes look sunken and dark.
I am so worried as i have Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS as am so stressed out its making me very ill.
He will know the results tomorrow but just needed someone to talk with.
