Question best way to detect facial nerve damage?

hi folks!

what's the best way to diagnose facial nerve damage?

mri or an emg?

I would try a MRI to look at the brain. The trigeminal nerve has three branches and affects the majority of the face. This should be seen during a MRI of the brain. Have it done with and without contrast. Hope this helps.
