Levator eye muscle surgery vs Sling

hi, just recently had lower eyelid lifts (cause my eyelids don't close together), and this has helped my dry eye issue. Dr. wanted to do this before any kind of upper eyelid lift... Now he said he would next recommend the Levator (b/c my R pretty much is closed now and only will open a bit in a very dimly lit room or when I look up). He said it would get my R eye to function/open a bit more. Now I am a bit concerned as I have been dealing with horrible dry eye and eyeball pain since I was suspected to have CPEO(2011), and not interested in going back there at all. I though dry eye was an issue if you had sling. Anyone recently have levator surgery and what were the results? thx much...
