Re: Whole body nerve pain and numbness
I have a less extreme form of your symptoms. Mine began with an acute infection. I've also found that glutamic acid, found in most commercially prepared foods in various guises, is neurotoxic for me and has led to acute exacerbations and rapid progression of symptoms. My nervous system symptoms began with buzzing, electric sensation in my lower spine, moving initially down my legs and eventually leading to varying degrees of systemic numbness and sequelae. Muscle stiffness began with the initiating infection. Stress overwhelmingly worsens and progresses my symptoms, and in the past had included the kind of chronic-acute stress caused by medical professionals refusing to help. I still encounter some who are unwilling to order necessary tests and/or are ignorant of them. It's best to research potential specialists and tests and ask for them specifically.
