Does anyone know what thee episodes are please - Neuropathy Message Board

Hi,over the last few weeks ive been experiencing the following Episodes.I get pins & needles and a little numbness in my arms and hands,then everything goes blury,normally i be sitting down as i feel a bit strange before,eyesight then goes blury,icant focus and i " feel out of it"(spaced out)bit dizzy?light headed,i don't loose consciousness.these episodes only last a miute or two,then i feel fine again,a friend whos seen me said i looked blank,and absent,any idea what these are,i know my blood preasure is normal and im not aneamic.please help ,thank you,apart from episodes these i do feel well

Deb, sounds like you need to see a neurologist. These symptoms sound neuro in nature. I have the symptoms you describe and it is from cervial discs and bone spurs problems. Go get checked out and let us know what happens.

I had a problem very much like yours. One day it lasted for about 2 hours. I went to my doctor and he did an EKG on me. He said the preliminary results were showing a blockage somewhere. The next week I did a stress test. The conclusion is that my heart would go off beat and not pump normal. I was not getting enough oxygen to my brain. This was because of too much stress in my life.
