Right Leg Cramps in Calf - Neuropathy Message Board

I have a continuous dull ache, some cramping and now and then some slight pain in my right calf & in the bend of my leg behind my knee. I don't have it in the left leg. Could this be peripherial artery disease? Has anyone had this? It has been slowing developing over the past 5 or 6 years, but I could live with it. Now, I am wondering if I might have a blockage that is getting worse. How do they test for this. I am 56.

I can't say with any medical knowledge but, you should see a doctor! Why risk having a larger medical problem! You are at prime age for heart related problems! Get yourself checked & I hope you feel better!

That sounds bad for me then. I am 36 years old and I have had that for the last 4 weeks. I think it could be a possible strain I am aggrivating too many times!

Texas, I seem to have what you are explaining and the doctors seem to be stupified. This has been going on for almost 4 years. Can you remember what meds that worked for you.Thanks, fmc
