| Re: Spinal column painful to the touch
Hi Painallthetime,
Thanks for answering. I've had cervical and thoracic fusion's done. Nothing pops up, it has to be pushed on to be felt. If it's from nerve endings healing they're sure takin their time, My thoracic fusions were done in 79 and 82 and cervical in 04. I am waiting for an answer from a guy that said something about trigger points. I've heard of them, but I dont remember what it was.
I thought I heard one time about swelling of the spinal cord causing something like this.
I'm in pain all the time too. Unless I find that perfect position and hold it, but then I start to stiffen up ya know?
I got used to the pain, and learned how to avoid it some. I'm down to takin neurontin 200 mg per day, and ibuprofen 1200 mg as needed, maybe twice a day. I hope your's get more tolerable too!!
Take it slow......Mike
