Vagus nerve damage?

Ok.. list of symptoms I guess would be first: possible gastroparesis (possibly causing GERD), small intestine noises/gurgling alot a bit after eating, weight loss (though do to diet change, still 21lbs in a month and a half) sinus arrhythmia, mainly sinus tachycardia, anxiety, chest pains... anyway, I had a EGD done by a GI, nothing much there and other than possible gastroparesis after emptying scan. After chest pains I went to ER and saw slight abnormal ST-T segments along with sinus arrhythmia.. intermittent arrhythmia confirmed by 24-Hr Holter along with isolated PVC's and PAC's. I have a pain just below the tip of my sternum but it can radiate all over my chest and to my back. When I lay down I can really feel the pain at times and have had palps in the area of pain, kind of like a the pulse you feel when you cut your finger. Anyway, so I'm wondering if all this could be caused by damage to my vagus nerve. I haven't had any surgery, but I have had really bad posture at home and work, slumped over a keyboard or desk. I do notice I can crack my back near the pain which I normally could never crack it before.. I have generally bad posture anyway... it just seems like all these symptoms could be due to damage and screwing with my ANS... any ideas? Oh and I've been sleeping the couch alot lately and also when I sleep in bed I tend to stretch one arm out over my head... many times I'll wake up with numbness in my arms if they are stretched out like that or folded up...

Re: Vagus nerve damage?

Hi moesciphish

Did you ever find out what your problem was?

I have symptoms like yours and I too am wondering about nerve issues.

Thanks
