Spinal Stimulator for p/n - Neuropathy Message Board

I am having a spinal stimulator trial in about 2 weeks, to help manage bad p/n in both feet. Have had condition for about 4 years. None of the standard meds have helped me with the pain. Iam currently taking Norco, which seems to take a edge off the pain but thats about it. I was wondering if anybody has or knows anybody that has tried a spinal stimulator for neuropathy in the feet. Most often these are used for back pain, but my pain management doctor seems opptimistic this will help. Would greatly appreciate any info whatsoever. I will also report back on how it goes if I go through with it!!

P.S. Only med I havnt tried is lyrica but I did not respond well to neurontin. Also has anybody tried methadone for pain management of p/n.

Yes, my pain management doctor tried me on Methadone--no pain relief for me. Norco is OK, Gabapentin is a life-saver. Lyrica and Cymbalta did not nelp a lot. I am quite interested in the nerve stimulator. I don't have any relief to speakof from this burning and I am getting desperate. Keep us posted. Linda
