Just don't leave his/her office untill you are 100% satisfied that the neuro has listened and taken notice of everything that you have to say, as you have mentioned here, and make sure that the neuro is going to investegate it -eg, full blood workup, nerve conduction test, EMG [tests for the larger nerves], possiblY MRI, thermal and vibration testing for the small fibre damage, glucose tolerance test, b12 levels, etc.there are heaps more, but hopefully they find the cause early.
It might even pay to write down some short notes that you want answered, its easy to forget some things when your in their office.
