| Small Fiber PN--Worst Fear Eased a Bit
Last week I saw my neurologist. She still can't find the cause of my very painful small fiber neuropathy. I asked her if the neuropathy will just continue to progress throughout my entire peripheral nervous system if we can't find the cause. She said in most cases that does not happen and there's no reason to believe that it will for me right now. Right now I just have symptoms in my feet. I just assumed I was destined for a progressively worse condition if I remain idiopathic.
I want to share this information for those of you who have small fiber PN. You might want to bring this up with your neurologists if you haven't already. Maybe you'll get a similar response.
