My mom is wondering if Accupunture would help her Neuropathy? Any experiences or thoughts would be helpful! Thanks, Nancy

Next week my friend starts accupuncture. Who knows if this works?

I had about 10 accupuncture treatments. The day after each treatment my hands and feet felt awful (I have small fiber PN). They felt "fuzzy" or like a turnicate had been placed around my wrists and ankles cutting off blood to my hands and feet. As far as I know this is a REALLY uncommon experience and most people who have recieved accupuncture have NO side-effects. In fact, that's one of the reasons it is so popular! I can only assume that because my nerves are damaged they responded to the accupuncture in an abnormal way.

I do know that many people claim really positive results.

I think it's worth a shot! (pun intended)

I asked my Doctor who is a very experienced accupunturist as well, if accupunture could help my neuropathy, he said straight out no.

My mom had her first week of accupunture for her numb feet and hands. She was able to tell a difference within the first few days. She was very lucky to have found a very reputable accupunturists who told her up front that he would be very honest if he felt he could help her or not. (He has two very popular offices so we knew he wasn't looking for her money). He also gave her herbs to take. She had deceided to try a natural way because she had been prescribed Neurontonin by her neurologist which kept her in a fog. This is very encourging for her, it's a nice alternative to Rx's that always have side effects.
