Smile Chronic Tight Aching Legs

Hi All,

I have been suffering for almost 2 years now with the following sympthoms with my legs:

hot burning
throbbing
shooting and stabbing pains
cramping
aching and tighness aswell as numbness
pins and needles

I have been undegoing regular consultations with neurology experts and a series of tests including all blood and muscle and nerve tests however no-one can diagnose the problem. Incidently its not hormonal. The condition has been classed as Peripheral Neuropathic pain.

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced a similar condition or know anyone with similar experiences who would like to share their thoughts.

Thanking you.

El. but remaining

Re: Chronic Tight Aching Legs

I can relate to what your feeling.

Have they done any MRI's to rule out any impingement or a MRI of the c-spine or brain to rule out neurological disorders?

Re: Chronic Tight Aching Legs

Hi El,
I'm in the same boat as you.
And they cant figure out whats causing my leg crazies either.
I also have some shoulder crazies, but that seems to be perhaps related to some spine curvature? currently under treatment of chiropractor.
I've also had a lot of luck with anti-inflammatory diet- magnesium supplementation as well as herbal anti-inflammatory and nerve helpers (dha/epa)
i second nuff's question re: an MRI, but see if you can get a good evaluation from a chiropractor or a physical therapist, and see if u can get hooked up with a nutritionist or massage therapists. might help!
Take care,
-Sarah
