Working out with Neuropathy
I'm curious what drugs/supplements folks are taking and successfully exercising. I'm thinking moderate workouts: swimming for 20 minutes or using fitness machines.
I have a lot of problems with my hands, forearms and shoulders. Legs aren't so bad. The muscles in my forearms and shoulders get pretty doughy and don't unlock.
Quinine sulphate and Alpha Lipoic Acid used to be my winning combo. Now that quinine has been virtually stripped from the market, my doctor has put me on Clonazepam and it works about half as good as quinine.
I could go the Canada route for quinine but I really don't
miss the mental side effects.
I just started taking methyl B12 shots. I also take a B50 twice daily and a lot of Vit. C
I'm not diabetic. Neurontin never worked for me.
