Restless Body Syndrome? Myesterious virus? Help!
I am a healthy 41 year- old female, and am presently experiencing my fourth bout in about six years of bizarre symptoms-- essentially a full-body sensation (though mostly arms and legs) of jello-ey, nervous, twitchy, weak muscles. These episodes last only 1-2 weeks, seem to occur every 1 1/2 - 2 years. They usually make me feel fatigued and slightly foggy-headed for a day or two but my weak, shaky limbs persist for longer. I can still get through a full day of work and chores, but it's more taxing--I have trouble gripping thins, etc.. The first round came after a flu-like bug, but there has been no rhyme or reason since then. It doesn't happen during stressful times, or certain seasons, etc. Two years ago, I was tested for Lyme, B-12 deficiency,I had MRI's and nerve-conductivity tests-all were normal. Should I go for more tests, or is this just some weird virus that keeps resurfacing?
