I agree, you do need to see a neuro, especially one that is well versed in neuropathy, there are many reasons why this can happen so you need proper testing to hopefully find a cause.
Usually any pressure on the lower spine cord can cause lower limb nerve problems and the cervical spine can cause problems to the upper extremities but just to confuse us more it has been known for cervical pressure to affect lower limbs as well.
A good neuro will send you off for blood and urine tests like, Thyroid, B12, B1, gluten sensitivity, 3 or 5 year glucose tolerance test, toxins, neuronal Antibody, genetic testing, connective tissue workups and there is heaps more, seeing there is over 200 known causes of peripheral nerve damage, hopefully they may be able to find the cause in the most basic tests.
