Pain, then dark vein - Neuropathy Message Board

Lately I've been having pain in my hands (palm-side right under the fingers and along the side of th ehand) and feet. I notice that when I get these pains (kind of sharp, kind of crampy), my vein is dark and at time raised a bit. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? TIA!

This sounds failiar to what I am facing.. some months ago someone diagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome but the pain in my hands and more like burning is far upto the elbow..
recently I have burning/pain near the ankle in something going into my feet.
I am only 30.. not diabetic but did have gestational diabetes and thyroid issues (post partum)
Have noticed veins to get dark around the burning site.
I will start my prescription of neurontin day after tomorrow

Pain then dark vein sounds serious, please make sure you get medical attention immediately!

I nursed for 15 yrs, don't wait.
