There is a condition called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy that causes the burning sensation that you have mentioned. Also this condition can travel from your arms and wrists to other parts of your body. This condition causes alot of burning pain as well as intense pain such as throbbing or a stabbing type of pain. There is a board here for RSD which lists all the different types of symptoms for RSD. Also you can check it out on the internet there are alot of articles about this condition. I'm not no doctor so I can't tell you that this is what you have but you can check it out for yourself. It could be one cause of your burning pain. Any type of nerve damage or pinched nerve can cause a burning sensation as well.
