Anyone else have this?

I was diagnosed with PN back in March after an EMG test. Sensory and motor nerves affected. My main problem is clothing rubbing against my skin causes me pain, especially my socks. The last ten days it has gotten so bad that I now simply can't wear socks and shoes. Even slippers are a challenge and I can't walk across the carpet barefoot or I would simply go barefoot. It's weird because if I am barefoot, for instance while laying in bed, there is no pain at all, it's only the socks and slippers. I've been taking Neurontin for the past month with no help. In fact it's gotten worse since I've added the daytime dose. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
