I have a quick questions for a couple of weeks now on/off i have tingling in the bottom of my feet and back of legs. It went away for a week and then came back. It usually comes when I'm sitting down and then dissapates if I'm standing up. Had an EMG done and it is negative. Sound like MS?
As far as what I've herd the only way to know if you have MS is to have an MRI done and they really should do both the brain and spinal cord. I went to one nerologistwho only MRIed my brain, now I go to a diffrent one and he says they should have MRIed both, but he doesn't think I have MS. He says I have periferal sensery neuropathy and my symptoms are very simaler to my mom's MS and yes I do get the tingling and it does come and go and so does the severity of it.
Could it be that when you sit down you are sitting on a nerve and by sitting your putting pressure on it? It could be your lower back. Maybe you need to ask a DR if the lower back could cause those kinds of feelings.
