I was rear ended about this time last year. I had my head turned to the right when I was hit. I had a pre-existing back injury, bulging discs in my lower back, prior to the accident. I've been experiencing head aches almost daily following the accident. I had a CT scan done and blood work done that came back OK. I went to an orthopedic doctor who did an MRI of my lower back and sent me to physical therapy for the headaches and bulging discs. The therapy helped with the severity of the headaches, but not the frequency. I finished therapy a few months ago and have been trying to get in to see a neurologist since then. A month or so ago, I would get occasional strange sensations in my left leg at night while trying to fall asleep. I finally saw the neurologist three days ago and told him about this. He gave me Topamax for the headaches. Since he didn't have my complete records due to miscommunication from the office, he set me up for another appointment in a month. A day after seeing him, the sensations in my leg started getting much worse, and I started getting a slight tingling in my left arm. I've now gone three nights without sleep since they started getting worse after seeing the neurologist Could this be caused by the accident? I won't be able to get in to see the neurologist before my next appointment in a month. Thanks!
