Question advice please with concerned ulnar nerve issues

3-4 years ago I had a numbness and tingling with spasms in my left pinky and ring finger. I consulted with my general physian and he referred me to a reputable orthapaedic practice in Charlotte, NC where I live. They performed a nerve test and diagnosed me with ulnar nerve compression in my elbow area. I had an ulnar nerver trasposition surgery a year and a half ago. I didn't notice a big change so they suggested some therapy to help build the muscles in the hand back that had suffered some atrophy and told me that it may take the nerve a year plus to heal back if it would heal.

I've was concerned that it was getting worse and went back to see my physician 2-3 times and got another nerve test which showed improvement per his evaluation. They had me do a hand strength test where you squeeze the metal devices and said it looked good in compared with my dominant hand considering everything. He told me that he belives that is good as it will get.

I still feel numbness and tingling in the the same area. My forearm and elbow area will get sore sometimes and throb with some mild pain. The fingers get fatiqued very quickly and I can't grip well with the hand. i believe the muscles in the hand are atrophying more not to drastic state but definitely noticeable if you look.

I went to see a chiropractor that used a lazer to help and try to stimulate the nerve in healing and adjusted my neck area. it didn't seem to help. I go in for a third nerve test in the next couple of weeks and go for an mri for the neck and spine area in the next couple of weeks as well.

i have had pain just below the top of my left shoulder and base of my neck here and there when i work on the computer so i don't know if by chance the compression may be there or not. So I spoke with a spine orthopaedic doctor and he doesn't believe that it is related but I wanted to check it out so I could at least eliminate it as a cause of the problem.

I'm worried that if i don't take care of this problem soon enough that it may cause permanent damage if it hasn't already. This whole diagnosing process is a very time consuming and expensive ordeal that I'm going through with juggling work, life, and my finances. All of my orthopaedic surgeons, chiropractor, etc. don't have any answers and I'm not willing to accept it and just deal with it forever. I believe that I'm in good health and that there is a way to fix this cause Ive never had any trauma to the areas in question. I just have limited funds and time to work with so I thought someone on these boards may help direct me in the direction I need to go in so I don't waste my limited amount of money and time.

If anyone would know of any type of particular specialist I should see, or suggestion on what may be wrong that i haven't listed above, or a treatment that I should consider I would be so very grateful.

Thank you for your help.

Adam
