| nerve in shoulder hit with needle
5 months ago I received a cortisone injection for bursitis. 2 days later I received another injection in my shoulder area for tendonitis. 2 days later I began noticing weakness in my shoulder and arm. Within a week I could barely pick up a glass of water. My doc sent me for physical therapy, but my muscles had already began to atrophy. After several visits within 4 months, the doctor finally admitted to hitting a cluster of nerves. Would this cause atrophy? I am starting to regain some strength, but I still can only lift 2 pounds. All other nerve related and muscle related diseases have been ruled out. What should I expect for a full recovery and can you elaborate on what happened. Doctor is very evasive when I ask any questions.
