Son has pinprick feelings in his fingers

Hi, I'm new to the board. My son has pinprick feelings in his fingers. Had them for two weeks. He alleviates the pain by pushing on his fingers and it goes away and then comes back. Anyone heard of this type of thing? He has a lot of allergies, and also a problem with objective ear clicking/palatal myclonus. that seems under control somewhat but could be related. we are concerned about the new pinprick feeling.
