| Re: how do i know if i have nerve damage
you could obtain an MRI of that area along with getting whats called an EMG nerve conduction study. the EMG really is the most definitive type of testing for nerve flow impairment/real damage. i have had this done three seperate times for various reasons over the years. it would show nerve flow imparment and how it also affects the muscles too. i would speak with your doc about this test. you usually are referred to a neurologist, but other types of specialists can do this for you too. getting an MRI would really help too in just seeing where the most significant damage is. just make an appt with your primary to discuss this. good luck. please keep me posted. marcia
