Unhappy What's going on?

I'm a 16 year old boy and just about to take my GCSE exams.

Last school holiday, I joined up to a school revision programme which would lead to us going to Alton Towers. I went with my friends and went on a lot of rides (Including several times on Oblivion).
Thing is, when I got back home, the right side of my face went numb along with my right hand. We went to the Hospital and they put it down to me going on too many rides.

Week after, we went on holiday to Devon, but I found I couldn't enjoy it. Ever since the numbing, I've had this feeling that there's something going to happen. I wake up sometimes feeling scared, anxious and, for some reason, lonely. Plus I've become extremely paranoid, thinking that every little thing is bad, and I've noticed that half my mouth is lower than the other.

I've looked elsewhere on the Internet and I read that it may have been a form of stroke, but I'm not certain.

What is it? Is it because of my exams? Or am I just worrying myself sick over nothing?

Please help me.

Re: What's going on?

When you went to the hospital, did they tell you to make a follow up appointment with your doctor, after they treated you?

i think it would be needed to see your family doctor and talk about these feelings you are having.
After all that had to be a scary feeling having your face go numb. Now that you have noticed half your mouth is lower than the other, this is more reason for you to see your doctor soon.

Wish you well

Re: What's going on?

Hi,
I agree, see your doctor.

It could just be a coincidence that your symptoms started after you went to Alton Towers, if your symptoms persist they need to be checked out. I had a similar experience as I went on Rita and Nemisis after not going on a rollercoaster for twenty years. i woke up in the night with major stomach pains and was conviced that I had some sort of internal damage from the rides, it turned out I had a major water infection and my symptoms were just a coincidence.

Numbness is a symptom off lots off thing so better to be checked out.

Susie.

Re: What's going on?

I've been to see my Doctor and he says everythings okay...so why do I still feel like there's something wrong with me?
