I have spent the last 20 years trying to find out what is wrong with me. No one seems to be able to give me an answer. I've been diognosed with Osteo Arthritis, Fibromyalgia and a host of other seemingly unrelated things like incontinence, ischemia, asthema, and carpal tunnel. Six months ago I was tested for the carpal tunnel and told that it was neuropathy. I didn't think much of it since the doctor said it so casually. Now I'm beginning to find out that many of the symptons that I had were connected with neuropathy. The one that has always worried me most is the one that no one can explain to me. There are times that for a minute or so I feel like a bolt of lighning has run down my spine. When it happens I can't breathe or even think clearly. I must have asked 25 doctors what it is and no one can tell me. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
I also get sudden swelling and extreme pain in my wrist and hand. I'm in a brace right now. My left ankle and leg swell all the time to the point where I don't even own a skirt anymore because it's so ugly to look at. I can't find shoes that will fit over the swelling in my left foot. I'm desperate for information on what this is and what to do about it.
I you know what I'm talking about please answer my plea for information.
