Anyone taking this? For what condition? I'm hoping it will have the side efects of weight loss and anxiety control.

I am taking 200 mg for migraine and cluster headache prevention. It has done nothing to help me lose weight or to help my anxiety that I suffer from. It is also a seizure medicine.

My wife is taking 600 mg of Topamax per day and also Celexa. This has made her very agressive as well as moody. She also has appetite suppression and a lack of sex drive.

The Neurologist put me on 2 Topamax 25 mg.at bedtime.I have been on it for over a year now for Migraines,Peroneal Nerve Injury to right leg & to try to see if it would help me lose weight(I am overwieght).For a couple of weeks now I have been on 1 Topamax 25 mg. in morning & 2 Topamax 25mg. at bedtime.There is alot of side affects to Topamax I have never had.The ones I have had are dry mouth,Thirsty,my food's having weird tastes to them,weight loss--I have lost 31 pounds since last year from the side affect to Topamax.Yeah!!!!My mirgraines are almost completely gone.My Peroneal Nerve Damage is doing better on Topamx.I have been on other meds. for my nerve injury but they haven't worked as good as Topamax.
