I have several conditions also; neuropathy, diabetes, psoriasis, hypertension, arthritis, emphysema, thyroid problem, and kidney problems. I take several meds for each one. I recently was rushed to hospital because my kidney wasn't working well. I stayed in for 5 days and remember almost nothing. I think all of the meds were working against each other. My Dr. took some away and added a few. I wish I could throw them all away.
My Dr. prescribed Methadone for the pain of neuropathy after the vicadons quit working. I am almost pain free. The little pain I have, I can handle. No more nights holding my feet and crying, thank God. I still have arhtritis pain but its going to get better too with exercise (very low key).
