I too have thyroid problems. I don't think it has anything to do with the neuropathy. I developed the problem before the neuropathy. I also have diabetes, arthritis, prosiasis, hypertension, emphysemia, and I'm anemic.
This amenia was a surprise. I have never been anemic before. On June 19, I was feeling terrible and called my daughter to please help me. I was completely disoriented and kept crying

. I felt horrible and I couldn't seem to do anything right. She came over and made an appointment with my doctor. I had not urinated in two days. I was so swollen that everything was difficult

. When we got to the doctor, he wrote up the papers and put me in the hospital. They put in a cathera to remove some of the fluid. They also started blood work. That is how they found out I was anemic. The anemia was so bad that I needed 2 pints of blood

. (They still don't know how I lost blood) They were having problems keeping me conscious. My kidneys were failing. A kidney specialist was called in to evaluate my test. If I hadn't started coming around(prayers did it), they were putting me on dylasis

. I am still scaried by this. It will be a week Friday that I came home from the hospital. Be careful with the medicines you are taking. I still think I was taking too many medicines (2 or 3 per disease).
