low cholesterol connection? - Neuropathy Message Board

I wonder if anyone on these boards has very low cholesterol levels? I have had some health problems recently which may involve nerve irritation or damage. I recently read about how cholesterol is needed for good nerve function. My cholesterol level is very low -about 66. Anyone else have this connection?

Mine is 265 when last checked and I have nerve problems in both arms, hands, right shoulder, right side of face, right side of upper back and neck and alos left thigh all the way down to bottom of left foot and toes. So, in my case, the theory you posted does not apply. Have a great day!
