First night needing pain med

My first night taking tramadol.
I have been trying to be tough and use alternative pain management. But I needed a break.
Try to help daughter and two grandkids. I don't rest enough and it is pain overload.
Only took half does and was great to get relief! First time with little pain in about two years.
Started B12 about month ago 2-5mg day. I think there's is small improvement.
Can someone tell me what happens during a NCS (Nerve Conduction Study) ?

Re: First night needing pain med

VERY glad you found some relief to your pain.

NCS is just getting shocks of electricity sent through your nerve. The feeling is kind of like hitting your "funny bone". It is kind of annoying but I wouldn't say it was painful. My wife was in when I got mine done(had 3 LOL) and would ask if it hurt...as I told her...when they would get the nerve to move it was better then when they would hit a "dead spot" and I didn't move. Doesn't take real long which is good.

Hope that helped.
J
