Question Is it Neuropathy

Dear Board members,

I am 60 years old and do not have any serious health condition so far.
But since last 6 months I had severe pain in my left shoulder joint. The movement was restricted and could not lift any weight. I took some physiatherapy treatment (SWD) for pain. The pain reduced and got better after 10 days of treatment. But it is not completly gone. I feel better while doing normal activities at dat time but while sleeping, when there is pressure on left shoulder whenever I turnover left there is a tingling and severe shock line pain that extends over the full hand. This is making be sleepless at night many a days.
Secondly of late I am having tingling and numb sensation on my right thigh joint on the outer periphery. It is more whenever I sit at one place for a long time like travelling in a bus or train and when pressure is put on the legs.

What I want to know from the members Is it a serious condition ? and what I should do.Which specialist Dr. I should visit and possible treatment. Kindly help by repling.

Re: Is it Neuropathy

A neurologist could order the proper tests to help diagnose the cause. It could be a number of issues, including spinal stenosis, etc.

I agree w/the above...I'd think and MRI would tell the Doctor a lot. I'd for sure get it checked.

Best of luck to you.
