Symptoms one year after facial trauma

One year ago I fell and hit my right eyebrow on a metal-edged table. I spent the night in the ER waiting for the plastic surgeon to arrive. I had a black eye, and many stitches. As far as I am aware I did not have a concussion, but I did experience marked numbness on the right side of my forehead + scalp.

It has been a year, and the right side of my scalp still feels quite different from the left. It's by no means entirely numb, but it feels...almost swollen. My boyfriend has said that he doesn't perceive a difference between the sides of my scalp, but that is the sensation I experience. Additionally, the scar is still somewhat tender when palpated.

I have not noticed any other symptoms (changes in cognitive function), but might it still be something to worry about?
