Hello, almost 3 weeks ago I started getting what I believe to be nerve pain. It all started with joint discomfort in my wrist and ankle. As time went on, I began feeling nerve pinching sensations all over my body (mostly joint aches but really all over.)
Some of it feels like pain in my bones as well. Much of it feels like random stabbing feelings. A few times I've had pins and needle sensations in my toes and fingers..however, it usually feels like deeper aching pain. I've also been getting quite a bit of weird muscle spasms at random times (all over as well). Things seem to get worse at night. All of this started happening shortly after I recovered from a sinus infection.
I've been to the doctor (where I received basic blood testing) and a neurologist (where I had a basic physical examination). Both believed I was fine but depressed. However, I know that the pain is real and I don't believe it to be brought on by any anxiety.
During the first week this started, I was on amoxicillin for a sinus infection. I also began taking doxepin shortly thereafter (While I ceased taking the amoxicillin I am currently still taking the doxepin). I am currently experiencing no bad symptoms except for this horrible body pain.
Since I can remember, I've had a nerve pinching feeling in my outer thighs if I stood too long in one spot (when I used to work in retail). However, I haven't really felt much nerve pain there recently (maybe a little). Despite having that, i've never had anything like i'm experiencing now. Also, when I was 8 years old, I suffered from an arteriovenous malformation in my head (not sure if that matters).
I just want to find some answers so I can live my life, being as healthy as possible. I'm a 26 year old male and am in good shape (besides the nerve pain).
Thanks so much.
