Neuropathy or something new?
I have SFN in my feet. I suffer from all the normal issues the rest of you have. But I've also been noticing an achey, stiff feeling in my hands & in my feet that's constant.
I don't know if it's part of the neuropathy or is there something else going on now, too?

Re: Neuropathy or something new?
My hands have been MUCH worse lately..esp when I first wake up...VERY stiff and will at times get those same shooting pain in my fingers that I do in my feet...wondering if it is due to the temps getting a bit lower...our nights are in the high 60's now compared to high 90's....
IMHO could for sure be part of your SFN...maybe see your Neurologist?? Time for another Zap Test?

Re: Neuropathy or something new?
Thank you both. Seems that it is part of the neuropathy since it's not just me getting it. That makes me sad that it's spreading for us.
I did try to get in to see my neurologist but the wait is now until February!
The temps here have been much cooler, too, J. Our daytime high right now is 45. I've also noticed that when it rains I seem to be worse.
Hope we all have a better day.

Re: Neuropathy or something new?
I'm sorry you had a bad day. I hope today is a better day for you. I've had a lot of bad days in a row so now the doctor has me on Oxycodone every 6 hrs & Vicodin in between. =(
Also going to a pain dr Nov 1st.

Re: Neuropathy or something new?
Thanks J. It's weird on the meds. I can still feel the pain but I just don't care! lol I can't function on these long term though so I don't know what is going to happen. It should be interesting.

Oh I've been on those before....I say for me they make me stupid LOL
Just keep an open mind and at least listen to them BUT remember...you know your body better then they do...
I'm hoping for the best....some of us here need good news/things that really help them.
